Lena was born in 1977. She is an illustrator and an animator and has worked in various fields, doing independent animation, comics, children’s books, design and awareness campaigns. She teaches at the Lebanese American University, and gives workshops in animation, illustration and comic books. Her animation “Drawing the War” won the Jury Award at the New York Exposition Festival and was screened in various local and international venues. She recently worked on the Samandal comic magazine, where you can read her story “Yoghurt and Jam”. lenamerhej.com/
